For the most part, WordPress and HTML are in similar veins, though HTML gives a lot more control over what exactly you want to do. It’s all about figuring out what code does what and putting the pieces together, then starting styling it up with CSS afterwards. It is more akin to building with jumbled Legos; you start with a bunch of pieces to put together and then additional decoration blocks or items to spruce up the build a lot more. With WordPress Its like getting a box set and instructions already premade for you to follow. Yes, you can divert and choose to build what has been given to you, but you can also choose to follow the templates to input your own ideas or spin on. Yes, generally a more easier round for someone who doesn’t know
For someone as myself learning both HTML and now WordPress. I can see the appeal of a pre-made website maker popping up for someone very inexperienced with coding and wanting to make a personal site for whatever reason. I mean, while most elements, such as text boxes, images, and borders, can all still be relatively edited with HTML, it’s definitely a lot easier to fully modify them to someone’s preference.
