Woob – Woob 1194
Quite possibly the most interesting ambient-based album I’ve come across recently in my listening. Spanning about an hour of runtime. This cold and global venture of an album samples a wide array of sounds and audio from the Middle East and Europe. As well as mixing sounds from other Documentaries from the sound of it.
Aphex Twin – Selected Ambient Works II
Ambient Works Volume 2 is the practically widely known as one of the greatest albums to be produced in the late 90s. Taking full shape into the Ambient genre, apart from its first volume “82-92” which had more rhythm to it. This album was mainly from the perspective of the artist’s dreams that he had. Each dream differs in sound each night. As of today, this album is held in high regard and a grail to be found in record stores
State Azure : Ambient Tape Session One
Starting off the album discussion, Tape Session one is a very frosty and cold feeling album spanning about an hour of drone and ambient music. Created during November of 2024, it was preformed live and record at Tascam Portastudio 414. While only 2 tracks are on the album, they both seemlessly blend together well almost making it one track entirely.
