Sometimes it can be a difficult or fairly straightforward process. I certainly have been in both states: either struggling a lot to get an idea out and just staring blankly at the canvas, or speed-drawing an entire idea out in the span of 5 hours. For the most part, ideas can really come and go, so it’s just a constant wave after wave of a burst of energy in wanting to draw.
